Korean War filmCompleted in 1964, two years after Marilyn's death, THE LEGEND OF MARILYN MONROE is an extraordinary documentary containing powerful, unique footage uncovering the heartbreak and hidden secrets of Marilyn's early life as well as creaating a vivid portrait of the actress through poignant first person interviews with the significant people in her life.

Director Terry Sanders followed the "Citizen Kane" approach as he researched and constructed the film, even finding the "Rosebud" symbol in Marilyn's tragic, yet triumphant life.
